Easter 2015

                                     This year Kaylee decorated all of her eggs as Minions.

                                        Kaden went with the monster/alien theme for his eggs.

 Kaylee helped me plan the Easter breakfast & dinner. 

We made homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

 For dinner we had a honey glazed ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls,

green beans and fruit.We had carrot cake for dessert.

                                   This year the kids found their Easter baskets in our closet.

Kaylee saw this cake kit and wanted to use it to decorate a carrot cake for Easter dinner dessert. She helped make the cake and she decorated it all by herself. She did a great job, the cake was delicious!

White House Easter Egg Roll 2009

We were so excited to get tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll! The kids participated in the traditional egg roll, met characters, played games and were each sent home with a wooden souvenir egg.

Easter

Every year we have an Easter egg hunt. We have had them on the beach, at the White House, and last year we had our first glow in the dark egg hunt. This year we are going to try a flashlight egg hunt.

                       

                         
                             
                                           Every year we color and decorate hard boiled eggs.

 The Easter Bunny hides their colored eggs around the house. The kids have to find all of their colored eggs before they can start the treasure hunt.

The Easter Bunny always hides their Easter baskets. He leaves a clue to start a treasure hunt that leads to their baskets.

                              Last year their baskets were hidden in the back of the Armada. 

We also have a nice ham dinner and then head to the park to have an egg rolling contest.
