San Diego Getaway

 

 Geoff had a business trip in San Diego. He was kind enough to let the rest of us tag along. We stayed at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter area.

 

 The kids and I enjoyed hanging out at the hotel pool and sweet shoppe while Geoff attended his conference meetings. We extended our stay a few extra nights to have some quality family time and go site seeing.

 

We took a day trip to La Jolla Beach, which is one of our favorite places. We love the sea lions!

 

       We took a day trip to Tijuana. The kids had fun bartering in the shops for souvenirs. 

Crystal Cove, CA

We had so much fun at Newport Beach that we decided to extend our vacation another night so that we could spend one more day at the beach.  We ended up going on a scenic drive and fell in love with Crystal Cove.  We picked up some food and had a picnic on the beach and watched the sun set.  It was a perfect day.

Disney World

When we lived in Florida we decided to buy season passes to Disney World. We were so glad we did.  It end up being so much fun!! We took several weekend trips and ended it with a week long stay with Jadi's side of the family.

                           

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Geoff took us to the Christmas party for my birthday that year. It was so much fun!!

 



Assateague Island

When we lived in Maryland we took a weekend getaway to a campground near Assateague Island to see the wild ponies.  It was so fun to watch them wander around the island.  We also had lots of fun playing in the waves and sand and collecting sea shells.

                         

                         

  

                         
                       

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Vacation

One of our favorite family vacations was to Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Lurray, VA.  We met up wiht some of our good friends. The kids all had a blast and loved it!

                                        

We tie dyed t-shirts.

 We went on a wagon ride with Boo Boo and sang songs.

The kids LOVED playing on the jumping pillows.

One morning Kaden was chosen to help Yogi Bear with the flag raising ceremony.

We went miniature golfing three times. 

We went on a scavenger hunt with Boo Boo.

The girls were so excited to meet Cindy Bear. :)
