Flagstaff Weekend Getaway

                                
                         
                            

                            

 We enjoyed a fun weekend getaway to Flagstaff. We rode the scenic chairlift at the Arizona Snowbowl.  The views from the top of the mountain were amazing.  We loved Flagstaff and can't wait to go back this winter to go tubing and play in the snow.

Weekend Getaway to Hershey, PA

 

When we lived in Maryland we took a weekend trip to Hershey, PA. 

We took the kids to Hershey Park and they loved it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Ocean City Maryland

We LOVED going to Ocean City when we lived in Maryland. 

We love the beach and eating yummy food and it had both! 

                       

                        

                        

                                       

                         
                     
                          We love Ocean City's boardwalk, especially all of the yummy food!  

                         

                                                 We love (crave) the Candy Kitchen's taffy.

 

Getaway to Sedona

We recently took a mini-vacation to Sedona.  We loved spending quality time together as a family. 

We visited a rainbow trout farm and let the kids each catch a fish.  We cooked them there and had a picnic lunch.  We discovered the kids like catching the fish more than they do eating them. :)

                               

                           We loved the look on Kaylee's face as she was putting the bait on her hook. :)

                                

                                

         

                                

       

 

      

We had fun walking through the shops in uptown Sedona. 

We always love to stop in the chocolate shops to get a yummy treat.

                            

We went hiking.  Kaylee made it half way up this hike before we realized it was too hard and dangerous for her.  We ended up waiting at the bottom for Geoff and Kaden.  

It was a fun weekend. We loved Sedona and are hoping to go back later this year.

Arizona Grand Resort

                            

Last summer we told the kids if they read the Book of Mormon by the end of the summer we would take them to the Arizona Grand Resort. They read every day (with encouragement from mom) and completed the challenge!

                                        On our way to the resort we stopped at Build-A-Bear.

For dinner we went to a fun restaurant with a tin slide. They even served complimentary cotton candy at the end of dinner.
