We take pictures every year on the first day of school. I always make the kids giant chocolate chip cookies. When they get home from school they eat (part of) their cookie while we talk about how their day went. I put the rest of their cookie in their lunch the next day.
Kaden LOVES this tradition and always makes sure I don't forget about it.
Geoff also gives our kids a priesthood father's blessing each year before they start school.
